watch this space: Keone Kealoha at Malama Kaua`i

keone kealoha of malama kauai

Suddenly, Malama Kauai‘s director, Keone Kealoha, is everywhere at once, and that’s a good thing for Kauaians who care deeply about sustainability on our island.

Why? Because he’s an outstanding young leader who is emerging from the sustainability conference of last Summer to become the ‘go to’ guy on these issues.

Which issues? Sheesh, just in the last week, Kealoha has been stirring it up in waste management, water resources, freecycling, and community ag.

Look out!

He’s got everyone from dirt to money working on this stuff. That can only be a good thing, and it can’t happen soon enough.

We all have so much to learn and then do about our island’s various vulnerabilities as the climate changes, now at an accelerating pace.

Anything you can do, any way you can engage with Malama Kauai is a good thing, and we will all benefit from Kealoha’s leadership as we exhibit some good followership, as well.

Get on this bus!

My mana`o.
