Suddenly, Malama Kauai's director, Keone Kealoha, is everywhere at once, and that's a good thing for Kauaians who care deeply about sustainability on our island.
Which issues? Sheesh, just in the last week, Kealoha has been stirring it up in waste management, water resources, freecycling, and community ag.
He's got everyone from dirt to money working on this stuff. That can only be a good thing, and it can't happen soon enough.
We all have so much to learn and then do about our island's various vulnerabilities as the climate changes, now at an accelerating pace.
Anything you can do, any way you can engage with Malama Kauai is a good thing, and we will all benefit from Kealoha's leadership as we exhibit some good followership, as well.
Get on this bus!
